{I'm sorry for the unmade bed...}
Last week, I decided to cut a bit over 8 inches of my hair off. The water here can be quite harsh and there was just too much damage. I also took it as something of turning over a new leaf. I was going for sulty, French girl. Not sure I accomplished it, but I still have enough hair for a top knot. You can see my old hair here, here, and here.

It looks beautiful! I'm not very impulsive with my hair because the curls tend to misbehave if I try anything too out of the ordinary. Long & layered is my go-to look!

Ooh LOVE it!! I hardly ever cut my hair, but thats only because I was scarred for life when my mom got me a bowl cut ;)

Lisa I adore it the cut is perfect!! I like to keep mine long enough for a ponytail...it is not quite enough for a top knot yet.

I'm the laziest person when it comes to hair, (wash and go is about all I can handle,) so it ends up growing very long and then I just chop it all off...at least I'm never worried about a bad haircut, it always grows back...
It looks great! And you are brave. I think I might have a hard time cutting off 8 inches of my hair.
